Meet Jeremiah Cook:

Jeremiah Cook has been a licensed massage therapist since December 2006.  He graduated from the Northwest School of Massage in Washington State with high honors. His training included a variety of bodywork modalities ranging from the traditional Swedish massage to the Eastern methods of Shiatsu and Jin Shin Do (acupressure). Jeremiah is also trained in the energetic techniques of Reiki. 

Jeremiah is often asked why he chose this new path of massage therapy, rather than continuing his profitable career in sales, sales management, and sales training.  His answer is simple- being a massage therapist is a continuation of his desire to help enrich others’ lives. Massage impacts the body, the mind and the spirit- a complete use of all his talents! Along with his wife and 3 children, Jeremiah has enjoyed being a resident of Carlton for over 8 years. He is a 1995 graduate of Brigham Young University.

Meet Martie Coblentz:

Martie has been licensed in Oregon and Washington since 2005, having graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, OR. She has experienced many career paths in her lifetime, but has always had a passion for assisting friends & family in a “Whole-health/wellness” concept.  Upon taking an early retirement from State of Oregon employment, she decided to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist, and has never regretted it!  Martie said, “I just wish I had done this 10 years earlier!” (Which her regular clients concur).

Martie specializes in CranioSacral Therapy which works well in affecting and relaxing the nervous system with the weight of a nickel.  CranioSacral Therapy has been very effective in calming various nervous disorders such as; migraines, chronic neck and back pain, chronic fatigue,  fibromyalgia, TMJ Syndrome, Scoliosis, ADD/ADHD and many other conditions.

Most of Martie’s clients request her “Heinz 57” Massage which includes, Swedish Relaxation, Trigger Point, Hot Stones, Sabai Herbal Balls as well as CranioSacral Therapy.

Martie and her husband, Phil live in the Grand Ronde area and enjoy square dancing, gardening, traveling and especially “Family-Time” with their 7 children and 17 grandkids.
